For us, the unpretentious fishing communities dotted around the British coast, where traditions die hard and the language is colourful, are hard to beat as places to live and work. There's a growing consensus that the future sustainability of our seas relies on a thriving inshore fishing community, small boats, manned by independent fishermen who know their stuff and do the right thing.
